| For over a century, the Dayton
Horse Show continues to prove that "tradition" is
still alive and vital to the Dayton area and Miami Valley and
the horse community. The support has been unwavering and
we hope it continues during economic challenges in 2010. |
|
| This horse show spans over 140
years, dating back to the very first show in 1867 at the Montgomery
County Fairgrounds! And in 2008, it was named the TRI
STATE HORSE SHOW OF THE YEAR! This show can only continue
with the support of "Friends of the Dayton Horse Show,"
like yourself. |

| Ove the past four years, we have
contributed approximately $20,000 to our benefactor, "The
Therapeutic Riding Institute." It is YOUR sponsorship
that allows us to continue to contribute to the annual budget
of this very worthwhile program. These enthusiastic and
hard-working individuals have shown, year after year, why their
volunteer organization has continued to successfully support
handicapped riders in our community for over 35 years!
The Dayton Horse Show Association, along with the Therapeutic
Riding Institute operate under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code, so all donations are tax deductible. |

| The 2008 show boasted quality
horses in every class, outstanding entertainment and parties
that were enjoyed by all. It goes without saying that
the heartwarming ceremonies honoring our Hall of Fame inductees,
along with the educational riding demonstration by The Therapeutic
Riding Institute, brought goosebumps and great pride to everyone
who witnessed these ceremonies. We plan to repeat many
of these again over the years. |
